I honestly tried to pick a size, but it was impossible… so I just ordered three. The 20-inch one looks unreal. I sent them a fairly rubbish phone photo of Barley on the sofa and somehow they got his eyebrows right, which is the bit nobody ever gets right.

What is a Lumera suncatcher made of?

Sheet glass, cut by hand, painted and fired at 1,465°F so the colour is fused in rather than sitting on top; leaded and soldered by hand; finished with a hand-soldered brass frame and hung on a brass chain. Nothing in it is plastic, acrylic or vinyl. The full list is on the materials page.

What sizes does it come in?

The round suncatcher comes in 15, 20 or 25 cm across; the 20 cm suits a standard sash window pane. The Christmas ornament is one size, a 10 cm bauble. The sizing guide sets the three against each other.

How much does it cost?

The suncatcher is from $89, which is the 20 cm; the live price for each size is shown on the create page once your design is drawn. The Christmas ornament is $59.99. Designing is free, and nothing is charged until you approve a design and check out.

How long does it take?

About a minute to draw the design, free. Two to three weeks to make after you approve and check out, then posted with tracking. A ready-made piece from the shop leaves within three to five days.

Do you ship to me?

We ship worldwide, tracked all the way to your door, in a double-walled box. Shipping, any duties and the delivery estimate for your country are shown at checkout.

Can I return it?

No. Each piece is made for one person, so it is not returnable, which is why you approve the design before you pay. If anything is unclear, message us before you buy and a person answers.

What photo works?

A clear view of one face, turned roughly towards the camera, with both eyes showing. An ordinary phone photo in daylight is what we usually work from, and it need not be sharp. JPEG, PNG or HEIC. The photo guide has the rest.
